Soap or Candy?
L got in the car today after school and was really excited to have a treat that one of her friends on the bus gave her. (Most things happen on the bus) I looked at it first and thought okay no peanuts so it looks safe, looks like a homemade sucker without a stick, wrapped very nicely in a bag with a tie. Sure L it looks okay, you can have it. She took one bite and started crying that it tastes disgusting, I grabbed it quickly and could smell that it was not candy but instead soap. I tried to reassure her that it was okay I thought it was candy too. Her response through tears, "the same thing's gonna happen to Christina". Maybe her mom will be smart enough to tell the difference between soap and candy.
Isn't this kind of early?
Me: We need to pick out your outfit for tomorrow.
L: I need to pick out something that Rowan will like.
Me: You need to pick out something you like, it doesn't matter if Rowan likes it or not.
L: I know mom..............his favorite color is red, what do I have that is red?

Guess what game they were playing on the bus?
L: You're never gonna believe what game they were playing on the bus today.
Me: What were they doing?
L: They were playing a game where you try to hit each others hands before the other person moves it away.
Me: That's not so bad as long as they are not hitting very hard.
L: And if you lose you have to lick the bottom of your shoe.
Me: Please tell me you don't play the game?
L: Ahhhhh.......No?
Wyatt from the bus
L: Mom wanna here the song Wyatt from the bus taught me?
Me: Sure
L: I'm a barbie girl in a barbie world, it's so plastic, my boobs are plastic.
Me: I don't think that's the way the song goes
L: I know, but that's the way Wyatt sings it.
